Destination: WI- Part 2

Yesterday, we started off the day at Smith Bros, for some iced coffee + lunch. Best Iced Mocha Latte I've ever had to date. What is it with Milwaukee and awesome coffee?! Then, we visited St. Vinny's, where I thrifted some amazing shoes and a cute bag to carry around campus in the fall. It's hard to think of the impending doom that is going back for fall semester, but a cute red and black carryall makes it a bit better. After the excitement of thrifting, I coaxed my boyfriend to take my picture in a new park in Port Washington right when the fog was rolling in off of Lake Michigan. You guys, there are ice cream cones on my freaking dress. I felt cute all day.
Later on, we visited The Public Market downtown Milwaukee where I took shots of balsamic +olive oil (it must be an Italian thing...), and got dinner at Sobelman's where we were brave & tried their famous masterpiece bloody mary, complete with a mini slider on it. We left a little tipsy and decided to try our luck at the smoky Potowatomi Casino and my lucky self lost a whopping 4 dollars-haha.

I feel like I've been posting like mad on instagram today, but I don't hate it. Follow along here!

  3. That dress is adorable! Ha I literally visited Milwaukee and never realized it was that fun… maybe I need a redo. When I went it was winter and the city looked kind of dead. I don't live very far so I should give it another try. http://theredlipchronicles.blogspot.com

    1. Maybe it's all perspective...I don't live near a city at all, so whenever I see one, I get super excited and have to do everything there or at least try to, but I'd say..yes! Milwaukee needs a redo! Blogger meetup?! haha.

  7. Pink is your color, grrrl. Also, I go back and forth with coffee addiction.

When I was living in Seattle a few summers ago, I came caffeine free and left a coffee addict once again. It was too good! Seattle obviously needs it because of the almost constant overcast weather.

Maybe Milwaukee is the same way??
